Absolutely reasonable that would happen. Perhaps some but do think
Others are purposely throwing caution to the wind of any repercussions that would fall of it...

Complaining is on purpose or it's neglect to repercussions?
Really good question. I never had really thought about the passive aggressiveness that could be used in this way but now that you mention it, I'm leaning towards "on purpose".

but

it's nice to have that relationship with another parent that you feel you can vent a bit and get stuff off your chest without it leading to anything beyond that.

Absolutely! I think both those scenarios are more likely than a parent complaining to another parent in the hopes that parent #2 brings their concerns to the coach.
