Crusch, the above post is the way I believe also, but it is sometimes a hard road. I believe when kids learn that dedication and hard work will over come most obsticles. Around where I live the girls that learned more than 1 position, and were not on the best teams are the ones exceling in high school. I tried to coach things that would help in the present mostly things that would help in the future. The most important thing is to have parents that support the team goals. Its easier to manage talented kids that know how to play than to coach kids that are learning to play.
