Something like a pitcher finishing with a walkthrough?
( but more explosive)

Or

After they finish they sort of leap/step and round off squaring to the batter?

Their not squaring to the batter, it’s another jump.
As far as I know only one of their PC’s are teaching it to half dozen HS age pitchers.
Umpires say it’s legal as long as ball is released at first plant.
I’ve seen three pitchers from that class so far.

The squaring to the batter is what we used to call East Coast Style, this is not that.

My daughter played with an organization nearby, but I don't recall ever seeing them at events.

If your daughter played for an organization nearby and she played in West Coast tournaments, then there are only a few organizations that travel that far in the MA-CT-RI area. Our paths may have crossed.

We probably did. Mine is now a college freshman.
