DD practiced with the "Big Girls" over the summer, and I got to watch Alyssa Denham(Arizona) pitch against Nicole Mendes(OU). I videod the at bat and told Alyssa's mom that this could be a prelude to the WCWS next year. My DD doesn't even know how special those workouts were. Players from Arizona, A&M, Tx Tech, UL, UTT, Tx State, UT, Dartmouth, OU, UIW, Ole Miss, UTD got together on Sunday afternoons for some light workouts.

Montana Fouts was ridiculously amazing tonight against Arizona. When I had to leave, she had pitched 6 innings, with 14 strike outs and 0 walks. She struck out the side 4 times!

Fouts is red hot.
As far as Hemphill…. What a swing she put on that low inside pitch. It was a mistake to call that pitch. She hits that ball out with regularity. Throw her balls in the far batters box, maybe something up out of zone. Put her on base, don’t let her change the game.
