Can anyone agree that maybe this-in the long run-is great for women’s sports? Seeing this much money-which is really not that much compared to a male player of the same caliber-is going to draw attention to the sport.

I think we will eventually see an implosion with all of this. Just another reason to have some kids attend college who have NO intention of being there for academics. But hey, if it can get kids that kind of money - have at it! Good for them.

I’d personally rather see money like that used to help pay-off the student loans of those who are going to be our healthcare providers in the years to come. But that’s just my wish. Between college, grad school, med school, etc it is completely unaffordable for the average blue-collar family.
