PP the best thing you can do for your daughter is take the constructive criticisim and help her be the best she can be. Don't turn into a 'My daughter is the best player ever and you can't teach her anything!' type of father. I can honestly say that I hate coaching those girls because too much time is spent getting the dads off my back.

I understand! I envy you in a way. Ive been playing since I was three years old (T-ball) so I don't know a life without softball. I've always done it. I envy the people who can remember their first rush of love for the game. I was at the diamonds when I was in nappies.

Its a wonderful sport, the best out there, and you and your daughter will hopefully enjoy it and get tons out of it.
