Did your DD ever complain about early morning practices in HS?

My DD#1 only needs 5 hours of sleep a night. She has been that way since she was born. When she was a toddler, she would stay up until 11PM and then climb out of her crib at 5:00 AM, jump into bed with me and mrs., and be ready to party. Drove us crazy.

DD actually likes it so she can have the rest of the day free.

I'm not up to hear her complain if she does I wouldn't know.

Mine never complained. She just complained about always having to be the morning pitcher. In travel ball there was a rotation, the exception was morning games. Even if she had the last game the night before she got the first game the next morning. No other pitcher would pitch it.

My DD was also a sleeper, she loved her sleep. In college ball on out of town trips she always roomied with other sleepers that went to bed earlier, no partiers.

Weird because my DS was the same way, when they were little and I would make their bedtimes later because they were older they would complain and want to go bed early. I got real lucky there!

All HS games/practices are after school, so no complaints about that. The pace of practice, on the other hand, is killing her.

My DD hates getting up early for anything. Practices are no exception.
