3rd base glove

My 12U DD is using a Rawlings Liberty Advanced RLA207SB-6W 12.25. While she really likes the pattern, she’s always fighting with the wrist pull strap.

Yeah, DD's old LA we ended up just tying the strap in a knot so it wouldn't loosen any more. Stayed that way for well over 3 years before she retired it.

But... I like the enablers here so don't let me steer you away from new leather. DD ended up with a custom.

Found a pic of my old Pro-Zipper on my PC here at work, this is the one I sent to OsDad after he begged me for two years. This one is the one....Code 55 dry Horween, Pinky Patch, very cool glove! 2013 year model I think.

This is my only remaining Pinky Patch RV23, just wanted to give you an idea of just what a huge infield baseball glove this is, a baseball looks like a golf ball in the pocket. I’ve read that both Robin Ventura and A-Rod had massive hands.

That is a big glove. Most 3B gloves are so shallow.

That is a big glove. Most 3B gloves are so shallow.

The one glove I can compare it to is a 12.25” Wilson 1781, another big infield glove with maybe even a larger hand stall?

But as far as Rawlings, the RV23 is in a family / pattern all by itself. It’s pretty much a love / hate glove, no gray area.

As always…..I recommend a 12” Don Morton Pro1000.

Do you have link to a website that this glove can be looked at, or possibly purchased? Unlikely that i would purchase but you never know.
