Need Glove advice

Might as well jump into this thread also since I have really enjoyed reading it.

What web style do you feel is best for pitching? I have seen kids basically using every style out there.

I am a huge fan of a triple hinge (mainly because I grew up using a 1970s A2000 XL with this style). It also shields the ball and grip very well from batters.

For pitchers, I would consider the overall weight of the glove when picking web style and leather type.

Throw it harder!

I think its the super skin and spin control is what she means. The catch feels a little different. She is also not used to a high quality glove. She used a rawlings player preferred the past 2 years which has been a decent glove and broke in well. Its held up surprisingly well.

Her hand is loose in there though. Besides tightening the wrist strap. Is there anything to do to tighten it more for a smaller hand?

Here is some pics of the problem. Her index finger is too short with tip and regular. Any suggestions?

How about i went to tighten the marucci as that felt a little loose and the lace snapped off. I wasn’t even pulling it super hard. Ill post pics. Do you think marucci will return or exchange it? Im a little disappointed in the quality.

Have her try wearing a batting glove.

I will have her try it. Thank you. She usually wears one with her infield glove. Maybe it will help a little. Its seems to be more of an issue of finger length.

Sometimes the stock laces in all brands aren't the best, especially those adjusting ones. When I get mine relaced, I always go with a thicker one.

Do you have any recommendations on someone to replace them and break in?
