Nobody knows. It’s not official yet. And once it is nobody will know how many scholarships each school will fund. My guess is G5s will stay the same or ramp up over a couple years. Will depend on the school’s football program. P4s will jump up right away in order to meet the increases in the football and baseball programs.
please define G5s and P4s

please define G5s and P4s
P4s are Power 4 schools: SEC, ACC, Big10, Big 12 (plus Notre Dame)

G5 is Group of 5 schools: AAC, CUSA, MAC, Mountain West, Sun Belt

You can lump any other D1 school that isn't in the P4 with the G5 schools (WCC, WAC, Patriot, etc.).

I would call the G5s Mid-Majors. The others are lower-level D1 schools, many without football programs.

Anxious to hear from an SEC coach on this topic, or from the conference as a whole. Feels like they need to speak first.
The settlement isn't final and still needs to go back to the courts to get approved so it could be months before anyone says anything "official". The one thing that seems like the parties agree upon is that the revenue sharing (most will go to football) do not need to adhere to title XI, but the scholarship increases do. So if a school is going to expand scholarships to Baseball (34 up from 11.7) and Football (105 up from 85) they will need to offer equivalency in woman's sports or cut some other men's sports.

Will colleges have this figured out by September 1st?
Will players go on official visits and be given an open ended offer dependent on what the football coach and AD decide on how to deal with new rules?

As you know, Everybody's situation has different factors. Including colleges having different factors and monies available. Mentioned what I did about squeezing more money because it does happen (seen it happen in d3) *particularly when softball athletes stepped up to also play on second Sports.

Lots and lots of things for people to navigate through! Part of which is planning, which may be the hardest thing for people to do!

Jr. College being free for 2 years may be the biggest overlooked thing nowadays. Definitely remind people about that opportunity since many people who are going to college are not going to graduate in 4 years.

Also seeing how many people are picking a four-year college and then transferring and then how many of their units don't transfer in the long run having to be at College longer and longer $$$$.
Consider getting the general stuff out of the way for free!
Make the bigger $$$$ decisions with more life experience and education about the situation!
DD with academic scholarship money and JUCO athletic scholarship with housing will be making more than if she had a job and went to school. Not for everyone but perfect for her.
