People in this country are way to soft in general, everyone is afraid someone's feelings will get. Sometimes people need to get their feelings hurt.

Sam was the best at that.

Our HS last year did not allow the seniors to wear their college shirts for their senior group pic for college acceptance day (which is traditionally done) because parents complained that some didn’t get into their 1st choice school and it would hurt their feelings.

We changed that back this year so the kids could wear their shirts for the pic.

The other thing that is frustrating about this is that all of these kids still were accepted at very good schools. It’s a shame that a handful ruined the tradition for the majority.
