From my experience. There was a point after he was hit where he was afraid he was going to die, then a very short time later he was in so much pain he was afraid he would live.

Hope nothing was permanently damaged.

I did. I just watched it 20 more times, and it looks like the batter just holds up and let's the ball through. The catcher is set up pretty far out though.

Pretty stupid. Plus the fact the bases are loaded only makes it worse. Why didnt the runners advance? Looks like a passed ball with no one covering home.
