I know both these girls (both seniors) and wish I could've been at this game. Amazing effort on both thier parts, neither deserved to lose this game. The losing pitcher, due to rainouts from the previous days, had to pitch a 5 inning game before this one on the same day.

That was a great game! We know both teams. Only played Yorktown. Pitcher is tough. Doesn’t throw that hard but very deceptive spin and she can put something in all 4 corners of the zone so it’s hard to know what’s coming. We definitely considered ourselves lucky to have won that game.

Agree! I have seen the Guerin pitcher many times in the summer circuit and thought she was throwing particularly well this fall. One of the best (and maybe most underrated) 2022s in the Midwest. Its games like this that make me think pitchers should train like distance runners.
