DD has been hitting the ball really well. She just turned 14 and is gaining some strength finally.
Last week she cracked her 2 legit and begged for an LXT. I finally gave in as I would rather see her swing the orange bat.
Anyway she gets the LXT and begs me to take her hitting. The field is a stone's throw from our house and we hit there every night.
I take her there and over the fence and down a small hill is a little league baseball field with boys playing.
DD starts hitting the ball and puts 4-5 over the fence (when she didn't pop up)
The little boys are going crazy.. chasing the balls and throwing them back. Till they find a ball that is split almost in half. They come running up to us showing us the ball and saying "wow, she broke the ball in half"!
DD, no rocket scientist, was like WOW!!!
I waited until we got in the car and right before it made it to her Snapchat story to break the news that the ball had been undoubtedly run over by a lawn mower.
Gotta remember to get all the balls before we exit the field.
