I was in Kroger yesterday and saw a guy wearing the 2023 USFA World Series shirt and I asked him did you go to that tournament last summer. He laughed and said he bought it at the Dollar Store for $1.99!

I once saw a panhandler wearing an umpire shirt. That was funny!

For the little tournament I run, I don't put a date on the t-shirts we sell. Got about 40 left over up on a shelf in the garage waiting for next year's tournament.
Something big like a World Series would make more sense to have the date. Lots more shirts sold, and more commemorative.

We had a guy that brought his screen printing machine to the tournaments and made the shirts right on site. No waste, only made whatever shirts he sold during the tournament.

Around us they always had a heat press with a few hundred logos for the front and team lists for the back. Pick your size and color of shirt and they pressed it right there. The only thing they might have to eat are the premade vinyl. They typically ran out of the team lists so I think they had a good idea as to how many they needed each weekend.
