In my experience, I would say the main difference between both Rawlings and Wilson baseball and softball gloves are selection. A Pro Preferred is a great glove for fastpitch or baseball, and the cost is the same. An A2K is the same way with Wilson.

If you build a custom glove or buy one off the shelf, the choices for baseball are significantly greater. Is that unusual? Not at all. Both companies sell 10Xs as many baseball gloves as softball ones, so logic dictates you'd make more of what is in demand. The same is true for bats. Look at how many models LS sells of baseball bats compared to softball. They sell the Xeno, Meta, and LXT. All three are usable in all sanctions. Go look at their baseball selection. BBCOR, USA, USSSA, Wood bats, etc... And they all have multiple weights and models.
