    Great advice Rocketech1..!!! We are on it. We worked really hard on her change up over the winter and it is all paying off. We really worked on selling it, three times a week all winter long. All our hard work is paying off!

    Nope! We are in Illinois. A few hours away from Chicago. There are about 5 or 6 girls in this area that can throw in the 50's. Two other girls on Dd's team can.

    We had our first tournament here recently. DD got to pitch 12 innings and recorded 29 k's. We won the tournament and faced some very solid teams. I can't believe how far she has come in such a short time. One proud dad right here!!

    She is 5'4" 128 pounds. Pretty big for a 10u. And she is always growing at a ridiculous rate. She is extremely strong for her age. She almost hit a ball over a 220" fence last year at ASA state at 9y/o. Just really proud of her. She loves the game and works really hard.

    She did very good last fall with only a month of pitching lessons. I'm really looking forward to this spring. She had gained about 5mph and has developed a change up. Thank you for the kind words. My dd is really getting a kick out of all this!

    Did you do that with dd westwind? My dd wants to be a pitcher. I think as much work as she put in she has earned the right. She has a guy coaching that has alot of experience and there was drama on last years team. She just turned 10 three weeks ago. I'm in no hurry to move her up early...

    Yep. That's her getting set. Can you explain to me what that action actually does to improve a swing? And why it would matter if you did it before or after the ball left the pitchers hand?
