10u dd pitching....what do you guys think????

Did you play in a fall ball tournament up at Lake Tahoe last year? Are you out of San Jose? I heard tales of a 10U in San Jose that throws in the 50's and was in the Tahoe tournament last fall. The pitcher has the size of your DD.

Nope! We are in Illinois. A few hours away from Chicago. There are about 5 or 6 girls in this area that can throw in the 50's. Two other girls on Dd's team can.

Beastcakes - awesome stuff.

One suggestion, work a lot on a good change-up and she will be unstoppable through at least 12U. I have seen too many flamethrowers at 10 & 12U that "forget" to work on the off-speed pitch and then batters start catching up to the fastball, even when its in the 50's.
