Every softballer I know, who has played the sport from a young age, is so dominant on one side it's not funny. I struggle to do things with my left side.
I know it's expected because not many parents whose kids aren't playing at the top level, but the disdain for rec ball on this site can be quite depressing. Perhaps it's because we don't have travel ball here, or anything remotely similar to it, but rec ball is what keeps softball alive in my country. Without it, it would not exist.
