When is it justified to pull a team out of a tournament?

I think we're going to the same WS as well - DH has been questioning why we are going to an out-of-state tournament when we haven't done well this season but I think the different teams will be good for the girls to see. We're so used to the teams we normally play and I feel like GA has a ton of just really good teams. So far in our division there's only 3 GA teams - sadly one team is one we actually have played and lost to (but that was our very first tournament)

We go to the WS for the experience, vacation, fun. We don't really expect to place. DD's never played on a really top level team. Last year we were 5th place, which isn't a real thing, but still not bad. haha Our team feels good right now, like we have a lot of strong long-term potential. Maybe next year or in 14U.

WS is cool, it is fun to see a lot of teams you may never get a chance to play again. My daughter loves the parade and trading pins and gift bags...and then we play ball.
