My daughter has batting practice at 9:00 Saturday morning and the temps are gonna be in the 50's.. She doesn't have a back up bat for cold weather.. Should I be concerned about cracking the bat?? The coach has tennis balls that we could use instead of softballs.. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks..

At that age there won't be any danger to the bats at that temperature. Especially with soft toss. Metal bats on the other hand would be more susceptible to cracking; but not that much at risk even.
