If your W-L pct is .800, it means you don't want to travel, or play up, to get better competition. Which in some cases is justified. If you're a 10U team, you might not want to spend money on hotels, or play in 12U with the bigger ball. But the principle remains. If you win that much, you're choosing not to find better competition. Or, you're one of those 1 percent of teams for which there aren't enough good teams in your region of the country to keep you from being dominant.
