DD has a new swing coach, she seems to like the new swing and the coach himself. Any suggestions or tips would be very welcomed.

Don't like the music and excuse the mess in the basement.

I would work on sequence. Hands go back/hips go forward
She kinda sways back all together then swings.
Swing plane looks pretty good. She might stand her bat taller by and inch or 2 and see if the bat/ball sounds different.
Like Casey below...

This might help her see and feel what Gerry just posted, using a mirror.
The hitter faces the mirror with their belly button facing the mirror and gets a shoulders width and half stance, then gets balanced as described above. Now we ask them to load or transfer their weight inside their back leg and step forward. This becomes very interesting depending on the athlete and is comical as to what they do verses what they feel they are doing when they can see it. In particular look at their head movement moving backwards and for their knee to be positioned over their foot. Now lets point out that the position between their legs started as the shape of what looked like a pyramid. By leaning backwards you have lost the shape of the pyramid and the weight shifted over the back leg verses inside the back leg. If we focus on the front foot and simply do what we term a knee cock we turn the foot towards the inside edge or on the edge or big toe and foot and the heel comes off the ground slightly. The hitter should feel their weight on the inside of the back leg and you see the knees are inside the feet as a reference. To test for this weight shift have them do the knee cock or another term we use is load. You stand in front of them towards the pitcher and hold their shoulder and brace up against them and then ask them to lift their lead foot and you should be supporting them. If you feel no weight or very little look for them to be leaning backwards and you will see the knee is stacked over the foot. Now have them try it on their own and see if they land on a flexed front knee or rigid. If they still do not understand it have them stand with their shoulder against the wall and have them get their feet directly underneath them. Now ask them to pick up one foot and hold it up? They will not be able to do it because they can not shift their weight from one leg to the other. Put them back in front of a mirror and ask them to do the knee cock or load and this is where the proverbial light bulb goes off and they get it possibly for the first time in their life.

Thanks to both of you for the feedback. We now have a starting point to look to fix and a way to work on the fixes.

I really apperciate it!
