Michigan and Kentucky play 1pm in Boca in Florida on Saturday at the tournament at Florida Atlantic University. Going to rush over there after our morning team practice to watch that one (Go Blue) and probably hang around for the rest of the evening games as well.

Not sure why Mich is rated so low going into this year, got great seniors to carry the team. I guess time will tell, its still early.
B1G has a few decent teams, maybe Illi can make a run.

Georgia looked strong this weekend in Palm Springs.
Run ruled UCLA, beat Arizona, Oklahoma, Fullerton and lost in a close game to Washington.

Minnesota Ousts Notre Dame, 9-1
Freshman Madie Eckstrom and sophomore Bree Blanchette combined to go 6-for-7 to surge the Gopher offense.

Moulton allowed only four hits to the Fighting Irish (3-5) while walking a pair of batters. With the win Moulton improves her pitching record to 8-2 while also recording her third game this season with 10 or more strikeouts.

Minnesota isn't really known as a softball power. Kind of cool for us to beat the preseason #25 that badly.

Gophers have lost to UNLV 2-1, ASU (#4) 12-0, and North Carolina (#24) 1-0 before that game against the Irish.

For some reasony UGA always struggles against Wash.
But other than that they looked very impressive this weekend against some good teams.

Being a UW fan, I have to disagree. When the Dawgs (UW) won the WCWS in 2009, UGA beat them to force the if game to get into the simifinals game. They've always been a tough and scrappy team. I don't like it when the Huskies have UGA on their schedule. I would rather them play Bama or Florida.
