Can you post the actual link to the portion of the rule you have here? I can't find the verbiage you have here. I like to have these interpretations printed off in case it comes up.

Real simple. First base is defined as 15"x30". The rules involving the different halves of the base apply ONLY to a play on a batter runner. Been that way for a few years now.

That is exactly what I said. The poster I quoted referred to a different interpretation. That is why I asked for the link he posted.

We need to get you back up in Ohio. The umpires up here are never wrong and you will never need printed interpretations to correct them!
