Doesn’t take a Phd in Physics to figure out the advantage gained. Unless you simply don’t want to believe it.totally unsubstantiated opinions that this two inches somehow provides a massive advantage, for which no one has provided any evidence.

Fair enough. We are not upset at the pitcher. But I felt ppl who allowed her to get this far and still pitching illegally should be blamed. Umpires didn't call on her when she was 10u, coaches who didn't correct it. And maybe parents who rationalize it in this case?

Thanks for the character witness. The imagination fills in blanks it probably shouldn't when one doesn't have the opportunity to know her or her family. The way this thread was unfolding, all I could envision was the similarities to the Ball family from basketball a few years ago with their arrogant dad thinking the game should revolve around his sons, constantly capturing headlines, and thriving on controversy as PR.....I should probably tell you guys, Jordy is one of the coolest, most genuine, God loving, family oriented kids I've ever known. EVERYTHING she does is for her family and deep in her faith....
So what is the advantage in mph gained? 0-3, 3-5, 5-7, more? I’m not looking for a statistical study. Just anecdotally, what evidence can you supply from your kid, or students, or teammates, or yourself?
