HS Opening Day in GA

week 2 update. Rain go away!! We had 2 games rained out this week. We got one region game in this week beat NM 21 to 0 in 3 innings DD was 4-4 with a grand slam. We are 3-0 so far on the season. How is the season going for everyone else so far? Looking forward to next week we play some really good teams should be some good softball.

We have beaten both of our biggest rivals (West and Lambert) in close games and have only had one rain out so far.

Two rainouts this week, but won the one region game DD's team was able to play. Graduated 7 seniors last year (4 starters), but 4 of the 5 returning starters were all-region selections. Still, they are having some growing pains. The team is talented, but still having issues with team chemistry.

We finally got a game in last night beat the #2 ranked team in AA Gordon Lee 4 to 3 last night. 4-0 on the season DD continues to swing a hot bat is 10 for 11 on the young season with 12 RBI. We have a lot of good games coming up this week Thursday we play Ringgold who we beat for the state championship last year should be a great atmosphere and a very competitive game. We play some good teams in the Allatoona tournament this weekend. Anyone else in that tourney this weekend?

DD's team pulled off a come from behind win. DD has been struggling at the plate, but went 3 for 5 last night with 3 runs scored. I hope she keeps it up. Her team plays 4 days this week. It's going to be a long week.

Gordon Lee is always tough they have a great coaching staff. The team you DD plays for if it who I think it is they are always tough also.

yeah we do not play you guys this weekend we have North Paulding and Creekview Friday and Lassiter,River Ridge, and Heard Co Saturday. Good luck this weekend and the rest of the season.
