A team from Tacoma was there, a dad at the snack bar told me:"I got in my car to drive to the airport and it was 49 degrees...."

Kids/parents did their jobs pushing the water, starting mid-week. No health or performance effects from the heat, though it is an inevitable distraction.

I kept thinking that if this were an adult tourney, the only pool play would be at the hotel.
