My DD is a 14 yo freshman, varsity starting catcher, who also plays travel. Last night while warming up the pitcher the lacing in the pocket of her glove (a mizuno gsx92 - I think) broke. The coach was able to tie the glove back together enough to play and the glove is going to be restrung, but I want to get her a back up becasue I expect this will happen again.
I am looking for suggestions of a glove that will get her through high school. This glove has a nice deep H pocket that she likes, but I am wondering about other pocket designs. Also one of the reasons she chose the mizuno is she has smaller hands. Thanks in advance.
