Asa rules question ball four bounces out of play.

Does the batter advance to second. I believe all runners get 1 base. Just looking for clarification. Thanks in advance for info.

Until expert help arrives....One base advancement from the base posessed at the time of the pitch. So batter ends up on 1B, IMO.

8-5C Effect says all runers are awarded 1 base and the batter only gets 1B on ball four.

It's one base for everybody based on the base held at the time of the pitch. And guess where the batter was at the time of the pitch! All she gets is first base.
