Its one thing if your a contributing member on here trying to help someone out with some gear or a bat, but I'm getting tired of seeing adds for cheap shirts, jeans, and knock off brand stuff from automated sites... just venting!

For the sheer number of spam attacks I think the moderators do a great job of cleaning that stuff up

Lol... I just really hate those stupid adds that sneak past the moderators.

As an administrator on an automotive forum, I can tell you it just doesn't matter how hard you try to make the registration process. Short of having all new users be approved manually, I don't think there is a way to keep the spammers from figuring out how to get through. One morning a few months ago the bots figured out our loopholes and the were registering and posting spam faster than I could ban them.
