Ok how do you fight to stay back?
Ok here is the swing at full speed. It’s a good speed to look at to actually see the coil and leverage against the back leg. You can see the going backwards to go forwards.

Here’s the physical coiling, going backwards to go forward. For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.

It’s more then simple lifting the front knee.

Shawn, since this is Haley's thread can you use examples of players who actually utilize the same movement pattern ? None of the videos you share match what Rich teaches (forced actions out of sequence).

So, you have to wait to fall before you swing?

Of course. High level hitters do not swing with one foot in mid-air

And of course, they 'fall' (Jeff Bagwell has his own method:)). You are trying to land on a very bent front leg.
