Were you not going to feed her tonight if her numbers didn't match up?? (this is your "in" to telling us how fast she throws..don't miss it)
LOL nah, it's just good to see since I have no clue about other kids unless their parent or coach divulges that info. My DD clocked in at 44 a couple of months ago.

DD’s team picked up a kid for this coming season, who also played for DD’s team a few years ago (good kid, DD is happy she is playing with her again), who cruised around 63,64 last spring (see below). While she is doing well in HS as a freshmen, she was far from unhittable in TB.

So, the camera is also the radar? How accurate is it. 64 mph at 14u is rare and against average teams she will dominate just throwing strikes.

No idea how that works. The other kid was mid 50’s which is what I would expect from that team. She has been clocked as high as 67 in practice on a regular radar so 🤷🏽‍♂️ My eye radar tells me I didn’t see a kid throw harder than her last year in 14u 😂 I did see better pitchers though..(Jensen from 14U NE Gold National was pretty impressive)

She has control problems at times and leaves too many pitches over the plate against good teams. She is still young..

The Pocket Radar Smart Coach can be integrated with Game Changer Team manager to provide pitch speed during the games. I believe it's still in beta right now, but I could be incorrect. Either way that is impressive for 14U. I'd be scared to step in the box against a 14-year-old throwing that hard because the control doesn't always match the speed.

My daughter played with a girl who throws 65+ in every game, but she hit 26 batters in HS ball this spring.

This kid has 7 HBP and 23 BB in 46 innings pitched for HS ball this Fall.

Her PC is Kenny Gajewski's wife. If she figures out how to "pitch" (locate, control, etc) a bit better, I would put money on her pitching for him in a few years (if she wants to..).

Those aren't terrible numbers for a 14-year-old player. The girl I referred to had 131 BBs, 164 Ks, 71 ERs, 26 HBsP, and 54 WPs in 107 innings pitched. And this was against a weak Catholic school league.

No she has pitched well going by my GC stalking (I haven’t had a chance to see her pitch in person) ERA and WHIP are both 1.1.

Holy Guacamole.

All pitchers, teams and competitors are different. My DD had 14 walks this spring/summer facing 459 batters (105 innings pitched). I buy her a milkshake if she goes 4 innings or more, gets the W and has zero walks. Motivation. :p

She had far fewer Ks (70) than Player A above.

There are about 1500 college softball teams. Less than 70 play in the P5 (that’s under 5%). By definition, every pitcher in the P5 is ‘rare.’

Lol that is funny every pitcher in the P5 is rare hahaha 🥳

That is suggesting that there aren't equally speed throwing pitchers playing outside of P5.

There are pitchers that play D3 who throw 65 mph.
Just saying that 5% maybe larger than those numbers.

(Simply Softball is not the only reason people pick the college they go to!)

I also do not think that the only goal for P5 is to find pitchers who throw High velocity. There are plenty of pitchers in D1 who don't throw faster than 64 mph but have tremendous Spin and accuracy.
Simply don't think High Velocity is the only thing top D1's look for.
Specifically because speed alone is not enough.
