Just out of curiousity, if your DD doesn't need a new bat when the new bats come out do you guys sneak into her bat bag when she isn't looking and hit a few bags of rocks with it?

Yeah, the Mantra was supposed to kill the Ghost. Didn't happen. I'm doubtful here as well.

The Mantra wasnt supposed to kill the Ghost...was supposed to help Rawlings get back in the market and
it did. And I do see Rawlings going a bit further next release since they own Easton.
Does it sell great...not really, but way better than the Quatro. And it is a better bat than the Quatro.

Yeah but that is like saying doink the clown was a better wrestler than dink the clown, duh.

Yes the mantra is better but with the quatro it would be hard to get worse is all i am saying.

I will say this, rawlings should get feedback from the xeno lovers and take that and apply it into the next mantra as with the bats weight i could see it being a more likable alternative to the xeno once people cant find them anymore.

Yeah I am a true Ghost believer but that being said, I would love to see a bat with the pop of the Ghost have the durability of the LS/Demarinis. So I was intrigued by the Meta.

I'm intrigued as well. Both my daughters swing the GA, and one is at 18 months with hers. Still going strong. Other DD did break hers at about the 10-month mark. She got jammed and she swings like Paul Bunyan so it broke the connection - you can see the ball mark an inch above the connection. My bet for the next bat that is better (for us) than GA is Easton,.

I mean, you have to get better, and the Mantra did that. Nobody saying that its the number one bat made, but I have some people that really love them. They require more break in, thats for sure. You know why, they like to take bp and put the time
into the bat to get it where it should be and they are good once you break in
You need to take step 1 first.

Yes, I wasn't saying Rawlings was calling Mantra a Ghost Killer. I was saying a lot of parents were looking to that bat to be the bat that would be better than the Ghost.

Haha, no.

I only buy bats when a bat is needed. I'm tempted to buy them when a bat is wanted, but I'm too frugal for that.

Oh, I gotcha...yeah...not so much. But it is quite a compliment to Easton when every bat made is supposedly a ghost killer
