Will this ever happen?

This should be a liveley debate.
Will there ever be a Softball equivilent to Major league basball? With minor leagues and all?
In the Npf a girl must have went to college to play, And they dont hold a draft. If a guy can prove himself in the thousands of open tryouts held each year he can play pro ball. Doesent matter if he can read as long as he can play.
There is nothing like that for softball players.
Second question: Would ot ruin the sport? Would it too be riddled with scandal as all pro sports are?

Question #1: Yes, as soon as one of the TV networks figure out how to make money off the sport and the million/billions start flowing.
Question #2: Yes, why would women's softball be different than any other sport once the athletes start making millions.
