If softball scheduling similar to football? I've heard that many times it's the stronger schools paying the weaker schools for the early-season match-ups.

Maybe UTEP is getting new batting cages out of this?

Haha, that sucks for UTEP.. On the other hand, two underclassmen from our ORG went 9-9 with 5HR's!!!! That is an amazing stat

revenue games happen in both football and basketball, so why not softball. weaker program agrees to game because they get slice of gate, or do a home and home so they get rvenue from return trip (might be biggest gate of year for them, as strong program likely draws the most they see all year)

Older dd‘s lil mid-major played Oklahoma. To this day she says she never wants to go back there for any reason.

Keep in mind they also got destroyed by Florida about three times per year but she has never mentioned it.
