How to time your approach, including your deep breath, so that you are not stuck standing in the box waiting on the pitcher. After all, the purpose your deep breathing is to relax and bring you into a calm focus but if you are standing in the box for say 10 -12 seconds after your exhale you are losing the benefits and your mind might start to wander. So wait until you hear the coach call the pitch (5328 green) then take your deep breath with one foot out of the box. Step in cleansed, focused and relax. Never feel rushed, take deep breath and exhale to a 6 or 7 count.
