These mechanics look very similar to hitting. Using the the back leg to 'snap' the hips in place to lead the upper body.

Would these mechanics be easier to teach. Lots of carry over from hitting, throwing overhand, ect...

Would also think this style would be nearly impossible to use with Ball in Glove?

I think you’re correct. With the turning open while the arm is at 3, it would be hard.

One of the cues is the punch forward with the glove arm, straight forward. No swimming because you’re turning the lower sideways.

Everything is the same as far as when the lower goes forward and the upper goes rearward, the K position in fastpitch.

Get the front foot down sooner and you have more 'clock' to use to pull down. Lower body can lead the upper body for longer period of time.

This is holding the upper, closed. Everything happening more vertical. Front leg lifted higher. Opening over the top, compared to sideways.IMG_3471.png
