She is getting more responsible, so wanted to invest in something a little better. Protect those eyes! I read once we spend $300+ money on bats but don't want to spend anything on sunglasses, ha!Honestly, I would get one of those 10 pack for $10 tinted safety glasses packs off of eBay. Lost, scratched, smashed....no big deal.
Seriously, when my DD was pitching in 10U, her coach (who was a construction worker) took his "sunglasses" off and gave them to her when she was having problems with the sun. They are thin, lightweight, and sit close to your face. They fit perfectly under her face mask.
That's because sunglasses don't help you hit bombs! Priorities people! She is getting more responsible, so wanted to invest in something a little better. Protect those eyes! I read once we spend $300+ money on bats but don't want to spend anything on sunglasses, ha!
DD wears a Rawlings adult sports, list for $35, we paid I think $20. and she hates scratches on lenses, so she keeps them in helmet (catching helmet, no idea if they would fit well under fielders mask), or in their case. We've had good luck with Boombah sunglasses. My kids are way too hard on them (or irresponsible) to even think about giving them Oakleys or another high end model.
