Just saw the numbers over the last two years for WI:
2013: 15,067 schools; 362,488 participents
2012: 14,142 schools; 367,023 participents
So the number of schools with a sb program is up but the number of players is down.
DD's school is going to have varsity of course but then 2 jv teams. This is because our conference looks like it will not be supporting a freshmen team anymore. Then this way more jv-ers get more games overall.
What it all means - idunno....
