Best decision I ever made was to quit coaching DD's team and sit in the outfield during games. I often know more than her coaches and have more experience. I also know that I would get more out of her teammates and win more games, with fewer errors, more hits, etc, etc, etc. For MY kid though it is better that she figure things out on her own and learn to deal with bad coaching, underachieving teammates, etc, etc, etc.
IMHO, I highly recommend walking away from coaching your kid around 14U.
