Goes to 43 at 14UI know this has been asked before, but I can't find it.
Moving from 10U to 12U the distance and ball size changes.
Does the distance for a pitcher change anytime after 12U? like high school?
And if it wasn't already obvious - HS = 43'.
You'll find A LOT more discussion on here about the move from 35'-40' than you will about 40'-43'. Maybe it's just b/c we're not there yet, but I can't recall even reading a thread about moving from 40'-43'.
Though it may not seem like a lot, it's like taking 2-3mph off perceived speed from 40'. It's also a tremendous help for a movement pitcher, those last 3' are where the sharpest movement happens.IMO it is because the distance change from 40’ to 43’ isn’t as drastic. Especially with the ball size staying the same after moving to 12”.

AgreedI agree with that. I’m not saying it’s nothing. But, the change isn’t as much as adding 5ft and increasing the ball size for (generally) inexperienced and developing pitchers. It’s still an adjustment, but not as much as the jump from 10u to 12u.
