Just a reminder that May 21-22-23 in beautiful Stratford Ontario will see our annual May Showdown!!
Once again this year the Stratford Lions Club will host the largest single site fastpitch Softball tournament in Ontario. May 21-22-23 will see 44 of the top 16U and 18U teams from across Ontario, Quebec and the US playing 3 full days of fastpitch Softball at our beautiful Packham Road facility. Cost is $525 Can.
With a six game guarantee for all teams there will be lots of opportunity to watch the girls play. Last year saw a record number of US and Ontario College coaches in attendance. More than 30 players were able to make first contact and many have continued to pursue College Softball playing opportunities due to our tournament. Our park offers an ideal layout for scouting and an atmosphere that can't be matched.
If you require accommodations we have room blocks set up for the tournament dates at the Festival Inn. They are about 10 minutes from the ball park. When calling tell reservations you are booking a room under the Lions Championships May tournament room blocks and let them know you are a college coach.

The Facility
The center is the superb and purpose built Packham Road Diamonds located at 150 Packham Road in the south end of the City of Stratford. This 5 diamond facility features:
- all diamonds fully lighted
- all diamonds are fully fenced with canopy dug-outs
- all 5 diamonds are identical in every way, field size, infield, fencing, etc
- outfield fencing set for regulation Fastpitch at 200'
- outfields are fully sprinklered (automatic in-ground)
- infield sprinklered for dust and surface control (automatic in-ground)
- all clay in-fields
- large warm-up areas
- ample bleacher seating at all diamonds
- large and modern Club House with extensive open and covered patios
- full food facilities in the Club House
- beverage (licensed) for all the areas of diamonds 3-4-5
- modern, clean and fully functional washroom facilities in the Club House
- Officials change rooms and lounge in the club house
- large area for vendors at the main entrance
- on-site parking on site for approximately 400 cars
- the facility has fully controlled access for all tournaments
