Are there any rules that would prevent a pitcher from wearing a compression sleeve on her pitching arm while pitching? Are there any color limitations? I'm talking specifically for ASA and/or USSSA. Thanks.
USSSA:
H. The pitcher shall not wear any item on the pitching hand, wrist, arm or
thigh that the Umpire judges to be distracting. If a pitcher wears a batting
helmet while on defense, the outer covering and shield shall be a nonglare
surface.
ASA rule has pretty much the same verbage. Basically it is up to the umpires judgement if it is deemed to be distracting or not.
