What is a good drill to help my Dd catch her whip. She is releasing to far out in front of her.

Would really need some video to answer that one. It's probably not as simple as it seems. She could have a weak front side, forward lean, etc. Post some video and we can have a look! Slo-mo from 5:00 position is preferable.

If she’s truly catching the whip she wouldn’t be able to release out in front. My feeling “without video “ is that she is be ding at the waist prior to release , butt a bit out and hips wide open. Without proper posture and arm angle at release she won’t be able to catch the whip with proper brush contact. Send some video and you’ll get more help.

She has been working on some things.
She been working on lock it in and Liberty but as soon as she goes full things break down.

This is where is goes horribly wrong. 1. She is starting to bend to the right to avoid contact. 2. She turns her shoulders to the catcher which causes the arm to straighten.
