Both hands on the bat?

My 11yr old lefty has been getting conflicting advice for years now on her swing. It is starting to mess her up at the plate because she is being constantly corrected back and forth. Her natural swing separates the hands on follow through. She has had coaches encourage this and coaches tell her to keep both hands on the bat. Even with in the same practice she will be told to bat two different ways. What is the general up to date consensus on keeping both hands on the bat at follow through or not...thanks!

In general, I prefer both hands but if player hits well I would try to fix her. Coaches should be coaching hitters to be confident in the box. See ball, hit ball. KISS.
