yes. compared to her 22 Advanced (both 32), the connection is 1/16 inch closer to the handle. This page https://easton.rawlings.com/product/EFP4GHADLE10.html
indicates both new handle and barrel design. The new bat is .3 ounces heavier than her 22 (22.8 vs 22.5). She swears it is a heavier swing.
