Yup. Keep changes/tweaks very small for the remainder of the season. Get lessons lined up to start the moment the season is over. Go into lessons with you and your DD and your coach all on the same page that "Let's start from the ground up". Work on stance/posture, simple drills -- you might not do full pitch for a few weeks. But those weeks will fly by and if you do the drills a lot at home you'll build that foundation that is needed to be a great pitcher for years to come -- while a bit frustrating, monotonous and boring, it's a very, very small sacrifice.
And don't worry about being defensive. Most of us do the exact same. Part of the reason I don't post videos of my DD here very often (though there are some).
We switched to Tincher in the off-season, and needed about 6-8 weeks to get back to where we were, but of course now in a better position to progress and advance. Tincher, of course, does use IR and Brush Interference (but they don't stress them a lot). So I supplement her weekly lessons with the lock-it-in drills and Show it drills.
