DD's coach had them hit dimple balls off a machine they cranked up to 60 last night so I had her use one of her teammates cracked
Ghosts. Asked her if she felt any difference she said no (duh..cracked and hitting dimples..)...I am a master manipulator

Just out of curiousity, if your DD doesn't need a new bat when the new bats come out do you guys sneak into her bat bag when she isn't looking and hit a few bags of rocks with it?

They require more break in, thats for sure.
You need to take step 1 first.

i think people judge too quickly without properly allowing enough swings and times for bat break ins and players giving the bat a fair chance. we live in an instant thought world.

Why do you think nobody liked the old Eastons...because they required tons of break in.
It is what it is.

Parents and players want the hotest bat, asap. But same goes for many slowpitch guys as well.

I've been having a difficult time trying to figure out my dd's new '21 lxt -10 bat. Its a bit heavier than what she was swinging and sounds different so we really don't know what to make of the bat. Offseason time now, so i'm going to have her swing the bat a ton at home.

I don't know. Top bats are going for $450 or so. Gloves can almost be that much. Tough call.
