Crow hop

Recently a former D1 coach said that the crow hop isn't used as much in college softball because with a short field and stronger players, it isn't needed to make a good throw. A different story at the younger ages though.

Totally agree with that. I've seen more quick shuffle behinds happening or modified crow hops slash modified shuffles in college for that reason you mentioned above.
